La Gran Calavera Trompo

Inspired by Posadas’ etchings, this skeleton is far from dead, as it is found enjoying one of his favorite pastimes.

Similar to how the trompo spins to cook the pastor, this spirit is found playing with a traditional toy that goes by the same: “El Trompo”.

This mural is an altar to Mexican tradition and its popular games.
